Wanted Fugitive: Mavaega Mavaega
May 18, 2019

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Mavaega Mavaega who is wanted for a $20,000 bench warrant for Failure to Comply with the Terms and Conditions of Probation.

 

On May 7, 2017, at approximately 2:35 p.m., the victim was working inside of her business in the Kalihi area when a male entered and locked the door behind him. The male then demanded money from the victim and when the victim refused, the male used physical force against her. The male eventually left with money and property and fled the scene. Police were notified and through the investigation, the male was identified as Mavaega Mavaega. He was later located and placed under arrest for Robbery in the Second Degree.

 

Mavaega has no prior conviction and is known to frequent the Ewa Beach area.

May 13, 2019

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Gerett Ebinger who is wanted for a $20,000 Cash Only Bench Warrant for Failure to Comply with the Terms and Conditions of HOPE Probation.

                                               

On October 21, 2011 at about 4:44 p.m., the complainant withdrew $20,000 from his credit union located in the Kakaako area and placed it into his bag. As he was walking back to his vehicle, a male snatched the complainant’s bag and fled into an awaiting vehicle. Police were notified and were able to obtain video surveillance footage and witness statements. Through the investigation, the male who took the complainant’s bag was identified as Gerett Ebinger. He was later located and placed under arrest for Theft in the First Degree.

 

He has 1 prior conviction and is known to frequent the Honolulu area.

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Jarrett Treu who is wanted for an $11,000 Warrant of Arrest for Burglary in the Second Degree and Unauthorized Control of Propelled Vehicle.

 

On September 26, 2018, the complainant discovered that someone had broken into his Waianae area business, took property and fled in the company van. The complainant reviewed the security footage and observed an unknown male in the video. Police were notified and through the investigation, the male was identified as Jarrett Treu. He is now wanted for Burglary in the Second Degree and Unauthorized Control of Propelled Vehicle.   

 

Treu has no prior conviction and is known to frequent the Kapolei area.

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Derrick Hernandez who is wanted for a $1,000,000 Grand Jury Bench Warrant for Murder in the Second Degree.

 

On March 2, 2014 at about 4:41 a.m., the victim was involved in an argument with a male at Maili Beach Park. As the argument escalated, the male stabbed the victim then fled the scene. The victim was transported to the hospital where he later passed away. Police were notified and through the investigation, the male who stabbed the victim, was identified as Derrick Hernandez. He was later located and placed under arrest for Murder in the Second Degree.

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Kenneth Villarreal who is wanted for a $25,000 Bench Warrant for Failure to Comply with the Terms and Conditions of Probation.

                                               

On December 16, 2017 at about 3:30 p.m., the complainant returned to his Kaneohe area home and discovered that someone had broken into his home and took various items from within. The complainant reviewed his home video surveillance system and observed a male entering his property. Police were notified and through the investigation, the male depicted in the video surveillance was identified as Kenneth Villarreal. He was later located and placed under arrest for Burglary in the First Degree.

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Lawrence Keller who is wanted for a $20,000 Cash Only bench warrant for Failure to Comply with the Terms and Conditions of Probation.

 

On March 22, 2013, at approximately 5:45 p.m., a Loss Prevention Officer for the Waipahu Walmart Store observed a male to select and conceal a portable DVD player and two cellular phones. The male then exited the store without making payment for the items. The Loss Prevention Officer stopped the male and notified police. The male, who was identified as Lawrence Keller, was subsequently placed under arrest for Theft in the Second Degree.

 

Keller has 39 prior convictions and is known to frequent the Ewa Beach and Honolulu areas.

Wanted Fugitive: John Kamaka Jr.
March 25, 2019

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating John Kamaka who is wanted for a $100,000 Grand Jury Bench Warrant for Resisting Order to Stop a Motor Vehicle in the First Degree, Criminal Property Damage in the First Degree and two counts of Terroristic Threatening in the First Degree.

 

On January 7, 2018, at about 9:52 p.m., HPD officers responded to an argument call with possible weapons involved in the Waianae area.  Upon their arrival, officers attempted to stop a vehicle being drived by a male that matched the description given to police dispatch.  The driver disregarded police commands to stop and collided into a police vehicle.  The driver then reversed and collided into another police vehicle before accelerating forward in an attempt to run over a police officer then fled the scene.  Through the investigation, the driver was identified as John Kamaka. He was later located and placed under arrest for Attempted Murder in the First Degree, two counts of Terroristic Threatening in the First Degree and Resisting Order to Stop a Motor Vehicle in the First Degree.

 

Kamaka has 6 prior convictions and is known to frequent the Waipahu and Waianae areas.

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Fred Calleon who is wanted for an $11,000 Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment and Plea on February 4, 2019.

 

On July 22, 2018 at about 4:30 a.m., the victim was involved in an argument with a male in the Ala Moana area. As the argument escalated, the male struck the victim’s face multiple times causing her injuries. Police were notified and placed the male, later identified as Fred Calleon, under arrest for Abuse of Family or Household Member.

 

Calleon has 12 prior convictions and is known to frequent the Honolulu area.

Wanted Fugitive: Shane Conradt-Nunuha
February 02, 2019

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Shane Conradt-Nunuha who is wanted for a $20,000 Cash Only Bench Warrant for Failure to Comply with the Terms and Conditions of Probation.

 

On February 4, 2010 at approximately 7:45 p.m., the juvenile victim was waiting at a bus stop in the Kaimuki area when he was approached by two males. One of the males then asked the victim if he had ever been robbed before then demanded the victim’s iPhone. When the victim refused, the male grabbed the victim’s iPhone then punched his face causing him to sustain injuries. Both males then fled the scene. Police were notified and through the investigation, the male who punched the victim and took his iPhone, was identified as Shane Conradt-Nunuha. He was later located and placed under arrest for Robbery in the Second Degree.  

 

He has 2 prior convictions and is known to frequent the Wahiawa area.

Wanted Fugitive: Kovin Hamada
October 27, 2018

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Kovin Hamada who is wanted for a $50,000 Warrant of Arrest for Theft in the Second Degree.

 

On August 9, 2016, at approximately 7:20 p.m., a male entered a jewelry store located inside of a Waikiki Hotel and asked an employee to see two Hawaiian bracelets from a display. The employee handed the bracelets to the male who then fled in an awaiting vehicle with the bracelets which were valued at over $8,000. A security officer was able to obtain the license plate number of the vehicle and recover video surveillance which was turned over to police. Through the investigation, the male who took the Hawaiian bracelets was identified as Kovin Hamada.

 

He has eight prior convictions and is known to frequent the Honolulu area.

Wanted Fugitive: Brandon K. HARDING
June 16, 2018

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Brandon Harding who is wanted for a $80,000 Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Hearing on May 1, 2018.

 

On August 5, 2017, a male checked into the Hyatt Waikiki Hotel and provided the front desk clerk with an identification card and a credit card bearing his name. The male later checked out of the hotel on August 11, 2017 with a total bill of $3,461.41.  When an employee of the Hyatt later tried to finalize the males account, they discovered that the credit card that the male used was fraudulent and flagged his name in the hotel’s computer. On August 21, 2017, the same male returned to the Hyatt and tried to check in. Police were notified and placed the male, later identified as Brandon Harding, under arrest for Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card and Theft in the Second Degree.    

 

Harding has no prior convictions and is known to frequent the Honolulu area.

Wanted Fugitive: Michael D. WARNER
May 19, 2018

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Michael Warner who is wanted for a $25,000 bench warrant for Failure to Appear Hearing on April 25, 2018.

 

 On November 6, 2016 at about 11:30 p.m., the complainant was inside of a Waikiki night club when someone stole her purse from on top of a bar counter.  On November 7, 2016, at about 9:00 p.m., the complainant used her sister’s phone to try and track down her phone that was in her stolen purse.  Upon pinging the phone, they were able to track it down to the Fort Derussy beach area. They then heard the audible sound of the phone coming from the back pocket of a male that was laying on the beach. Police were notified and upon detaining the male with the complainant’s phone, he was found to be in possession of the complainant’s credit cards. The male, who was identified as Michael Warner, was subsequently placed under arrest for Theft in the Second Degree and Unauthorized Possession of Confidential Personal Information.

Warner has no prior conviction and is known to frequent the Honolulu area.

March 24, 2018

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Ernesto Alcala Jr. who is wanted for a $50,000 bench warrant for Failure to Comply with the Terms and Conditions of Deferral.

 

On November 25, 2013, at approximately 6:40 p.m., a Loss Prevention Officer for the Army and Air Force Exchange Service or AAFES, a retail establishment, observed a male browsing at items in the store. The Loss Prevention Officer recognized the male as someone who had previously been arrested for theft several months prior. The male was later observed to select a Bose speaker box and LG DVD player then place them into a shopping cart. The male then proceeded to the garden section and threw the Bose speaker and LG DVD player over the wall to his friend who then placed them into a vehicle. Police were notified and the male who threw the items over the wall was identified as Ernesto Alcala Jr..  Alcala was subsequently placed under arrest for Theft in the Second Degree.

 

Alcala has no prior conviction and is known to frequent the Wahiawa area.

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Chenhui Xiong who is wanted for a $100,000 Bench Warrant for Failure to Comply with the Terms and Conditions of Probation.

                                               

On March 6, 2017 at about 7:50 p.m., a male entered the Waikiki Yves Saint Laurent store and selected two men’s bags from the sales floor. The male then provided the employee a Visa credit card for payment but the card was declined. The male then provided an American Express credit card for payment but that card was also declined. The employee then called the Visa Merchant Authorization Center at which time he was told that the credit card was not valid. The employee became suspicious and contacted the police. The male, who was later identified as Chenhui Xiong, was subsequently placed under arrest for two counts of Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card.

 

Chenhui Xiong has no prior convictions and is known to frequent the Honolulu area.

October 21, 2017

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Joeson Mongkeya who is wanted for a $100,000 Grand Jury Bench Warrant for three counts of Sex Assault in the Second Degree.

On May 28, 2014, at about 8:00 a.m., Joeson Mongkeya befriended a female and gave her an alcoholic beverage. Mongkeya then sexually assaulted the victim numerous times. The victim reported the incident to a family member who then contacted police. Mongkeya was later located and placed under arrest for Sex Assault in the Second Degree. 

He has eight prior convictions and is known to frequent the Honolulu area.

October 07, 2017

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Michele Kakalia who is wanted for a $20,000 cash only warrant for Failure to Appear.

On October 5, 2014, at approximately 5:35 p.m., a female entered a market in the Kalihi area and placed several items into her bag. The female then exited the store without making payment for the items. An employee of the market tried to stop the female from leaving but the female used physical force to overcome the employee. Police were called and were able to locate the female nearby. The female, who was identified as Michele Kakalia, was placed under arrest for Robbery in the Second Degree.

She has six prior convictions and is known to frequent the Waianae area.

Wanted Fugitive: Tovaega MAILAELO
April 15, 2017

Tovaega Mailealo who is wanted for a $250,000 Grand Jury warrant.

 

 The complainant who is in her eighties and resides at the Kahala Nui Senior Living Home was having her taxes done when discrepancies in her checking account were found. Through investigation with the bank the complainant’s niece observed ninety-four checks written out to Mailealo had been stolen, forged and deposited into Mailealo’s account between April 26, 2011 and March 4, 2013.

 

A police report was made and Mailealo fled the state. She is wanted for Identity Theft in the First Degree and Theft in the First Degree.

Wanted Fugitive: Garrett JENNINGS
February 11, 2017

Garret Jennings who is wanted for a $50,000 Contempt warrant for failure to appear for Jury Selection on December 13, 2016.

 

On October 14, 2006, the complainant met the suspect Jennings on the internet and invited him to stay at a Waikiki hotel.  They got into an argument while out at a bar and upon returning to his hotel room found that numerous items were missing. One of the items a laptop was located on December 2, 2006, at a pawn shop and positively identified by the complainant. The records from the pawn shop showed that it had been brought in by Jennings on October 16, 2006.

Jennings was later located and placed under arrest for Theft in the Second Degree.  Jennings has seven prior convictions and is known to frequent the Honolulu area.

Wanted Fugitive: Christine BRAY AKA Christine LANE
May 07, 2016

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Christine Bray who is wanted for a $20,000 cash only Probation Revocation warrant for failure to comply with the terms and conditions for HOPE probation.

 

On March 7, 2014, the complainant who is a supervisor for Child Welfare Services was assigned to do a home visit on a child that was placed in temporary custody of her parents. When she arrived at the home she was informed by a family member that the child had been taken to Florida by her parents.  Information was received through investigation of their whereabouts in Florida.  Child Welfare Services in Florida located the child, took custody, and she was returned to Honolulu.   Bray was charged with Custodial Interference in the First Degree.

Wanted Fugitive: Sherwin DIAZ
March 19, 2016

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Sherwin Diaz who is wanted for two warrants totaling $100,000 for failure to appear for DAG/Sentencing on January 8, 2016.


On August 15, 2004, the complainant left her residence on Ohialoke Street at approximately 8 a.m., and returned several hours later to find that her home had been broken into. Police dusted the residence for fingerprints and through investigation found that the prints belonged to Diaz.  He was later located and placed under arrest for Burglary in the First Degree.


On August 29, 2004, at approximately 8:30 a.m., the complainant returned to his residence on Kaluanui Road and parked his vehicle in his garage.  At approximately 10:30 a.m., the complainant discovered his vehicle missing and called the police.  Through investigation Diaz was locate d and arrested for Burglary in the First Degree, and Unauthorized Control of a Propelled Vehicle.
