WANTED

Melinda Tran is wanted for a $25,000 Contempt warrant for failure to appear for motion to continue trial and change of plea on August 24, 2016. On February 29, 2016, Tran entered the Money Mart located on Kalakaua Avenue and requested to cash a check. The teller called the owner of the check and found that it had been reported stolen from their business. Police were called and Tran was positively identified and placed under arrest for Forgery in the Second Degree, and Attempted Theft in the Second Degree. She has no prior convictions and is known to frequent the Honolulu area. Wanted as of 11/15/2016
